INTERACTIVE MEDIA PLANNER/BUYER
MeringCarson is a full service advertising agency with offices in both Sacramento and San Diego, California. We are looking for an Interactive Media Planner/Buyer who will plan and manage multiple digital media campaigns, leveraging and building upon solid publisher relationships across traditional display networks, negotiating with media sales representatives to buy and place advertising, calculating rates and budgets, and ensuring that ads appear as specified. This person will direct the media planning and execution function by coordinating technical elements, executing media buys, and analyzing post-launch performance of online media placements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Create strategic and innovative media recommendations;
· Develop and execute media planning and buying functions;
· Analyze performance of CPA, CPC and CPM buys, recommend opportunities for improvement;
· Plan, launch and manage paid Search campaigns
· Collaborate with reporting team to write media performance reports;
· Forecast, execute, analyze and optimize media placements;
· Research and negotiate placement opportunities for various campaign types;
· Work with account and reporting team to assess cost, volume, and quality improvement opportunities;
· Analyze/implement bid management and ad serving solutions;
· Conduct and review daily placement audit, resolve all issues immediately;
· Communicate with team on a daily basis;
· Partner with Publishers to maximize cost effectiveness and promotional/value add opportunities;
· Collaborate with traffic department and to ensure plans are executed flawlessly;
· Generate/manage all Publishers orders and relationships;
· Deliver budget reconciliation and post-buy analyses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
· 3+ years of online digital media planning/buying;
· Working knowledge of online research tools such as Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance and Google Analytics
· Strong analytical fundamentals;
· Excellent written and verbal communication, highly detailed-oriented, a can-do attitude and collaborative work style. Likes to have fun and is not afraid of hard work or long hours when required;
· Expert-level media buying & planning software and proficient with all Microsoft office systems (word, excel, powerpoint);
· Knowledge of and ability to request and analyze consumer research insights;
· Ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks.

MeringCarson is a full-service advertising agency with offices in Sacramento and San Diego, CA. We are currently on the lookout for a Junior Digital Producer/Traffic Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating the development and execution of simultaneous integrated online campaigns, including budgeting, resource allocation, vendor management, technical specifications, quality assurance, tracking and trafficking.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with internal digital media, creative and account teams, as well as external digital vendors to ensure the seamless production, delivery and launch of all assigned campaigns
- Create and process estimates, change orders, invoices and purchase orders
- Maintain budgets without compromising the creative product
- Assess deliverables based on project scope of work and work with creative traffic managers to create schedules
- Maintain overall production schedule shifting priorities on the fly
- Effectively Communicate and document project status. Keep teams informed and motivated
- Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels
- Ensure all creative is built to proper technical specs
- QA final project files for delivery and archiving

We are looking for a Media Director to oversee all media initiatives, provide strategic direction and ensure the media team’s growth and development. The Media Director serves as the senior media expert and is responsible for ensuring media strategies and deliverables meet or exceed the strategic requirements of our business needs and our clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead and manage media planning of all client business, serving as the primary and high level contact to articulate agency’ view on media strategy and business philosophies.
- Guide the development and execution of innovative media strategies and programs, as new media channels play a greater role in meeting our clients' marketing needs including the digital, social and mobile space.
